Reflecting on Allah's Creation
Quran 3:190-191
رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana ma khalaqta hadha batilan subhanaka faqina 'adhab an-nar
English Translation
Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Signs in Creation
This Quranic verse is recited when contemplating the wonders of nature. It acknowledges that Allah's creation has purpose and meaning, leading to glorification of Allah and seeking His protection. Nature becomes a book of signs (ayat) pointing to the Creator.
Hindi Translation
हे हमारे रब, तूने यह सब बेकार नहीं बनाया, तू पाक है, तो हमें आग के अज़ाब से बचा।
Urdu Translation
اے ہمارے رب، تو نے یہ سب بے کار نہیں بنایا، تو پاک ہے، تو ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔
For Rain (Istisqa)
Sahih Bukhari 1014
اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا مَرِيئًا نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ آجِلٍ
Allahumma asqina ghaythan mughithan mari'an nafi'an ghayra darrin 'ajilan ghayra ajil
English Translation
O Allah, give us rain that is beneficial, helpful, wholesome, profitable, not harmful, sooner rather than later.
Prayer for Beneficial Rain
This is the dua for seeking rain (Istisqa) taught by the Prophet ﷺ. It asks for rain that brings relief and benefit without causing harm like floods. Rain is seen as a mercy from Allah that brings life to the earth and sustenance to all creation.
Hindi Translation
हे अल्लाह, हमें ऐसी बारिश दे जो फ़ायदेमंद हो, मदद करने वाली हो, अच्छी हो, नुक़सान न पहुंचाने वाली हो, जल्दी हो, देर न हो।
Urdu Translation
اے اللہ، ہمیں ایسی بارش دے جو فائدہ مند ہو، مدد کرنے والی ہو، اچھی ہو، نقصان نہ پہنچانے والی ہو، جلدی ہو، دیر نہ ہو۔
Protection from Natural Disasters
Abu Dawud 5099
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَلَازِلِ الْأَرْضِ وَمِنَ الْبَرْقِ وَالرَّعْدِ وَالرِّيحِ الْعَاصِفِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zalazilil-ard wa minal-barqi war-ra'di war-rihil-'asif
English Translation
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from earthquakes, from lightning and thunder, and from violent winds.
Seeking Divine Protection
This dua seeks Allah's protection from natural disasters that can cause fear and destruction. It acknowledges that while these are natural phenomena, ultimate protection comes from Allah alone. It teaches us to turn to Allah during times of natural calamities.
Hindi Translation
हे अल्लाह, मैं तुझसे ज़मीन के ज़लज़लों से, बिजली और बादल की गर्जना से, और तेज़ हवाओं से पनाह मांगता हूं।
Urdu Translation
اے اللہ، میں تجھ سے زمین کے زلزلوں سے، بجلی اور بادل کی گرج سے، اور تیز ہواؤں سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔
Gratitude for Earth's Bounty
Quran 14:7
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fi'd-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhab an-nar
English Translation
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the next world, and save us from the punishment of the Fire.
Comprehensive Gratitude
This beloved Quranic dua asks for goodness in both worlds while expressing gratitude for Allah's countless blessings in nature - the food we eat, the air we breathe, the beauty we witness. It acknowledges that all of Earth's bounty comes from Allah's generosity.
Hindi Translation
हे हमारे रब, हमें दुनिया में भलाई दे और आख़िरत में भी भलाई दे, और हमें आग के अज़ाब से बचा।
Urdu Translation
اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں دنیا میں بھلائی دے اور آخرت میں بھی بھلائی دے، اور ہمیں آگ کے عذاب سے بچا۔
For Planting & Caring for Trees
Ahmad 12902
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنَا وَزِدْنَا مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ
Allahumma barik lana fima razaqtana wa zidna min fadlika wa rahmatik
English Translation
O Allah, bless us in what You have provided for us, and increase us from Your bounty and mercy.
Stewardship of Earth
This dua is perfect for when planting trees or caring for nature. The Prophet ﷺ said even if the Hour comes while one has a palm shoot in hand, let him plant it. This reflects Islam's emphasis on environmental stewardship and the reward in caring for Allah's creation.
Hindi Translation
हे अल्लाह, जो तूने हमें दिया है उसमें बरकत दे और अपने फ़ज़्ल और रहमत से हमें और भी दे।
Urdu Translation
اے اللہ، جو تو نے ہمیں دیا ہے اس میں برکت دے اور اپنے فضل اور رحمت سے ہمیں اور بھی دے۔
For Animals & Livestock
Sahih Muslim 2244
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي أَنْعَامِنَا وَاجْعَلْهَا مُبَارَكَةً طَيِّبَةً
Allahumma barik lana fi an'amina waj'alha mubarakatan tayyiba
English Translation
O Allah, bless us in our livestock and make them blessed and pure.
Mercy to All Creatures
This dua reflects Islam's teaching of kindness to animals. The Prophet ﷺ taught that there is reward in serving every living being. Animals are part of Allah's creation deserving care, respect, and mercy. This prayer seeks blessing in our relationship with animals.
Hindi Translation
हे अल्लाह, हमारे जानवरों में हमारे लिए बरकत दे और उन्हें मुबारक और पाक बना दे।
Urdu Translation
اے اللہ، ہمارے جانوروں میں ہمارے لیے برکت دے اور انہیں مبارک اور پاک بنا دے۔
For Travelling in Nature
Abu Dawud 2602
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ
Subhanal-ladhi sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun
English Translation
Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it. And indeed we, to our Lord, will [surely] return.
Journey Through Creation
This Quranic verse is recited when traveling, especially through natural landscapes. It acknowledges Allah's power in making the earth traversable and creation accessible to us. Every journey through nature becomes an opportunity for reflection and gratitude to Allah.

पाक है वह जिसने इसे हमारे लिए मुसख़्खर कर दिया और हम इसे क़ाबू में नहीं ला सकते थे, और बेशक हम अपने रब की तरफ़ लौटने वाले हैं।
Urdu Translation
پاک ہے وہ جس نے اسے ہمارے لیے مسخر کر دیا اور ہم اسے قابو میں نہیں لا سکتے تھے، اور بے شک ہم اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹنے والے ہیں۔
