أذكار النوم • सोने से पहले के अज़कार • Sleep with peace and Allah's protection

بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي، وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ، فَإِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارْحَمْهَا، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ
ऐ मेरे रब! तेरे नाम से मैंने अपना पहलू रखा है और तेरे साथ ही उसे उठाऊंगा। अगर तू मेरी जान क़ब्ज़ कर ले तो उस पर रहम कर और अगर उसे छोड़ दे तो उसकी हिफाज़त कर जैसे तू अपने नेक बंदों की हिफाज़त करता है।
In Your name my Lord, I lie down on my side, and by Your leave I lift it up. If You should take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants.

اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ
ऐ अल्लाह! मैंने अपनी जान तेरे हवाले कर दी, अपना मामला तेरे सुपुर्द किया, अपना चेहरा तेरी तरफ किया और अपनी पीठ तेरे सहारे लगाई, तेरी रग़बत और तेरे डर से।
O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You.

اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ
ऐ अल्लाह! मुझे अपने अज़ाब से बचा उस दिन जब तू अपने बंदों को उठाएगा।
O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the Day You resurrect Your servants.

अल्लाह पाक है।
Glory be to Allah.

अल्लाह की हम्द है।
All praise is for Allah.

अल्लाह सबसे बड़ा है।
Allah is the Greatest.

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ • اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ • لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ • وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
कह दो कि अल्लाह एक है। अल्लाह बेनियाज़ है। न उसकी कोई औलाद है और न वह किसी की औलाद है। और कोई उसके बराबर नहीं है।
Say: He is Allah, the One! Allah, the Eternal, Absolute. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ • مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ • وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ • وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ • وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
कह दो कि मैं सुबह के रब की पनाह मांगता हूं। हर उस चीज़ के शर से जो उसने बनाई है। और अंधेरी रात के शर से जब वह छा जाए। और गांठों में फूंकने वालियों के शर से। और हसद करने वाले के शर से जब वह हसद करे।
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn, from the mischief of created things; from the mischief of darkness as it overspreads; from the mischief of those who practice secret arts; and from the mischief of the envious one as he practices envy.

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ • مَلِكِ النَّاسِ • إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ • مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ • الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ • مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
कह दो कि मैं लोगों के रब की पनाह मांगता हूं। लोगों के बादशाह की। लोगों के माबूद की। उस वसवसा डालने वाले के शर से जो छुप जाता है। जो लोगों के दिलों में वसवसे डालता है। जिन्नों में से हो या इंसानों में से।
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of mankind, the King of mankind, the God of mankind, from the mischief of the Whisperer who withdraws, who whispers into the hearts of mankind, among Jinns and among men.

آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ: اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
आयतुल कुर्सी: अल्लाह के सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, वह ज़िंदा है, क़ायम रहने वाला है। उसे न ऊंघ आती है न नींद। आसमानों और ज़मीन में जो कुछ है सब उसी का है।
Ayat al-Kursi: Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.
