أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ
Astaghfirullah
मैं अल्लाह से माफी मांगता हूं
I seek forgiveness from Allah
Simple Istighfar

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullaha'l-'azima'lladhi la ilaha illa huwa'l-hayyu'l-qayyumu wa atubu ilayh
मैं अल्लाह अज़ीम से माफी मांगता हूं जिसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, जो ज़िंदा है, क़ायम रहने वाला है, और मैं उसकी तरफ तौबा करता हूं
I seek forgiveness from Allah the Magnificent, there is no deity except Him, the Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him
Complete Istighfar

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma anta rabbi la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika ma'stata't, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana't, abu'u laka bini'matika 'alayya wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir li fa innahu la yaghfiru'dh-dhunuba illa ant
ऐ अल्लाह! तू मेरा रब है, तेरे सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं। तूने मुझे पैदा किया है और मैं तेरा बंदा हूं। मैं तेरे अहद और वादे पर हूं जहां तक मेरी ताक़त है। मैं तेरी पनाह मांगता हूं उस बुराई से जो मैंने की है। मैं तेरी नेमत का इक़रार करता हूं जो तूने मुझ पर की है और अपने गुनाह का इक़रार करता हूं, सो मुझे माफ कर दे क्योंकि तेरे सिवा कोई गुनाहों को माफ नहीं करता।
O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I am keeping my covenant and promise to You as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for indeed none forgives sins except You.
Sayyid al-Istighfar

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَخَطَئِي وَجَهْلِي
Rabbi'ghfir li dhanbi wa khata'i wa jahli
ऐ मेरे रब! मेरे गुनाह, मेरी गलती और मेरी जहालत को माफ कर दे
My Lord, forgive my sin, my mistake, and my ignorance
Prophet's Dua

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَفْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma'ghfir li ma qaddamtu wa ma akhkhartu wa ma asrartu wa ma a'lantu wa ma asraftu wa ma anta a'lamu bihi minni, anta'l-muqaddimu wa anta'l-mu'akhkhiru la ilaha illa ant
ऐ अल्लाह! मुझे माफ कर दे जो मैंने आगे किया और जो पीछे किया, जो छुपाया और जो ज़ाहिर किया, जिसमें हद से गुज़रा और जिसे तू मुझसे बेहतर जानता है। तू ही आगे करने वाला है और तू ही पीछे करने वाला है, तेरे सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं।
O Allah, forgive me what I have sent before me and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have done openly, what I have done in excess, and what You are more knowing of than I. You are the One who puts forward and You are the One who delays. There is no deity except You.
Comprehensive Forgiveness

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullaha wa atubu ilayh
मैं अल्लाह से माफी मांगता हूं और उसकी तरफ तौबा करता हूं
I seek forgiveness from Allah and repent to Him
Istighfar with Tawbah
7
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lanakunnanna mina'l-khasirin
ऐ हमारे रब! हमने अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया है और अगर तू हमें माफ नहीं करेगा और हम पर रहम नहीं करेगा तो हम नुक़सान उठाने वालों में से हो जाएंगे
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers
Quran 7:23
8
لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu mina'z-zalimin
तेरे सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, तू पाक है, बेशक मैं ज़ालिमों में से था
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers
Dua of Yunus (AS)

رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي
Rabbi inni zalamtu nafsi faghfir li
ऐ मेरे रब! मैंने अपने ऊपर ज़ुल्म किया है, सो मुझे माफ कर दे
My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me
Musa's (AS) Dua

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ رَبِّي مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullaha rabbi min kulli dhanbin wa atubu ilayh
मैं अपने रब अल्लाह से हर गुनाह की माफी मांगता हूं और उसकी तरफ तौबा करता हूं
I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, from every sin and I repent to Him

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَمْلِكُهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlika wa rahmatika fa innahu la yamlikuha illa ant
ऐ अल्लाह! मैं तुझसे तेरे फज़ल और रहमत का सवाल करता हूं क्योंकि तेरे सिवा कोई इसका मालिक नहीं
O Allah, I ask You of Your favor and mercy, for indeed none possesses them except You
Seeking Mercy
12
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Rabbana'ghfir lana dhunubana wa israfana fi amrina wa thabbit aqdamana wa'nsurna 'ala'l-qawmi'l-kafirin
ऐ हमारे रब! हमारे गुनाहों को माफ कर दे और हमारे मामले में हमारी ज़्यादती को माफ कर दे, हमारे क़दमों को जमा दे और काफिर क़ौम के मुक़ाबले में हमारी मदद कर
Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people
Quran 3:147
13
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allahumma anta'l-ghafuru'r-rahimu tuhibbu'l-'afwa fa'fu 'anni
ऐ अल्लाह! तू गफूर रहीम है, तू माफ करना पसंद करता है, सो मुझे माफ कर दे
O Allah, You are Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful; You love to forgive, so forgive me
Laylat al-Qadr Dua
14
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma 'amiltu wa min sharri ma lam a'mal
ऐ अल्लाह! मैं तेरी पनाह मांगता हूं उस बुराई से जो मैंने की है और उस बुराई से जो मैंने नहीं की
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done

15
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Rabbi'ghfir li wa tub 'alayya innaka anta't-tawwabu'r-rahim
ऐ मेरे रब! मुझे माफ कर दे और मेरी तौबा क़बूल कर, बेशक तू तौबा क़बूल करने वाला रहीम है
My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful
Between Sujood
16
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ وَعَلَانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ
Allahumma'ghfir li dhanbi kullahu diqqahu wa jillahu wa awwalahu wa akhirahu wa 'alaniyyatahu wa sirrah
ऐ अल्लाह! मेरे तमाम गुनाहों को माफ कर दे, छोटे और बड़े, पहले और बाद के, खुले और छुपे हुए
O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the small and the great, the first and the last, the open and the secret

17
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذَنْبِي وَأَسْأَلُكَ رَحْمَتَكَ
Allahumma inni astaghfiruka li dhanbi wa as'aluka rahmatak
ऐ अल्लाह! मैं अपने गुनाह के लिए तुझसे माफी मांगता हूं और तेरी रहमत का सवाल करता हूं
O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness for my sin and I ask for Your mercy

تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَصُوحًا
Tubu ila Allahi tawbatan nasuha
अल्लाह की तरफ सच्ची तौबा करो
Repent to Allah with sincere repentance
